After breakfast visit Ellora (Closed on Tuesday): It is also known as Elapura, well known for its monumental caves, Ellora is a World Heritage Site. Ellora represents the epitome of Indian rock-cut architecture. The 34 "caves" are actually structures excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain rock-cut temples and viharas and mathas were built between the 5th century and 10th century. And visit Daultabad Fort and BIbi Ka Maqbara: Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, in Agra, in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz. Day excursion to Sanchi and Bhimbetka. Sanchi is one of the popular pilgrimage destinations for Buddhists in India and The Bhimbetka rock shelters are an archaeological site of the Paleolithic, exhibiting the earliest traces of human life on the Indian Subcontinent, and thus the beginning of the Indian Stone Age. At least some of the shelters were inhabited by Homo erectus over 100,000 years ago. The name Bhimbetka is associated with Bhima a hero-deity of the epic Mahabharata. After exploring these two places we will return back to the hotel.
