Day : 1 Arrival Delhi
After the flight when you arrive at Delhi airport and once your immigration and baggage are collected you
will be welcomed by our representative when you come out of the gate and reaches at arrival hall & you
will be transferred to hotel, discussing and briefing on the way. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day : 2 Delhi - Leh by Flight
AAfter breakfast transfer to Delhi domestic airport to board flight for Leh, on arrival transfer to hotel in Leh.
it will free day, you have to rest in the hotel whole day for acclimatization in high altitude, in evening you
will visit Shanti Stupa and walk in old part of Leh city. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day : 3 Leh
Morning start the guided tour of Stok Palace museum and Thiksey monastery. Back to hotel for hot lunch.
In the afternoon visit Leh town includes the imposing Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa (Japanese Pagoda) from
here enjoy panoramic views of the Leh and surrounding mountains including Stok Kangri Peak ( 6153m)
and bazaar & its back streets. O/n in Hotel.

Day : 4 Leh – Chilling (drive) - Skiu, 4-5hrs. (trek starts).
Early morning drive to the trek head at Chilling village. Greet by our trekking crew and cross the rushing
Zanskar river through the rope bridge in a trolley (this process may take about an hour). Start the trek for
Skiu via Kaya village. Arrive and enjoy the first night of stay in our mobile tent.

Day : 5 Skiu - Markha. 7-8hrs.trek.
A long days walk, crossing back and forward over the Markha Stream, to Markha village (3800m). There
are bridges at many of the more difficult crossing places. The lush vegetation along the river-side is in
stark contrast to the dry & barren upper valley slopes. O/n in Tent.

Day : 6 Markha – Thachungtse, 6 hrs. trek.
The trail continues above Markha village, taking us eastwards, deeper into the Markha valley to our
camp-site at Thachungtse (4100m). Along the way, we pass some impressive monasteries, some ruined
and some intact. In this area we are likely to see small herds of blue sheep (bharal) which often come
right down to the river to graze. O/n in Tent.

Day : 7 Tchatchutse - Nimaling, 6hrs. trek.
Today’s walk brings us to the head of the valley, which offers good views of the prominent peak of Kang
Yatze (6,400 m) Crossing the Markha stream on the last bridge, we start a steeper climb towards the high
plains, known as Nimaling. As well as blue sheep, golden marmots and large hares, Nimaling is also
home to an impressive range of birds of prey, including lammergiers and golden eagles. O/n in Tent.

Day : 8 Nimaling - Kongmaru La – Chuskurmo, 5 hrs. trek.
Early morning trek to Kongmaru-La (5100 m). The trail from the pass offers fabulous views to the north of
the hills of eastern Karakoram and China. On our way down, we walk along a narrow gorge and by
afternoon, arrive in Chuskurmo (4000m), our overnight place.

Day : 9 Chuskurmo – Shang Sumdo 3hrs. (trek ends) – Leh. (drive).
On our last day of trek today we walk to Shang Sumdo passing through the river valley crossing the small
river for few times. River crossing get bit difficult during the rain. Arrive Shang Sumdo and bid farewell to
our trekking crew and board the jeep for transfer to Leh (takes about an hour). Arrive Leh and check-in to
hotel.

Day : 10 Leh
Day free in Leh for rest and personnel exploration. O/n in hotel.

Day : 11 Leh- Delhi – Onward Journey by Flight
Morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight for New Delhi and further flight back to home.
