Day : 1 Arrival Delhi
After the flight when you arrive at Delhi airport and once your immigration and baggage are collected you
will be welcomed by our representative when you come out of the gate and reaches at arrival hall & you
will be transferred to hotel, discussing and briefing on the way. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day : 2 Delhi Sightseeing & Overnight Train to Varanasi at 20.05 hrs
After a nice breakfast at hotel, proceed for guided sightseeing tour of Delhi covering, Jama Masjid,
Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, drive past Parliament house, President house and
visit Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple (Closed on Monday).
Evening transfer to New Delhi railway station for board overnight train to Varanasi.

Day : 3 Varanasi arrival at 06.25 hrs
On arrival your will be received by our representative and assisted to your hotel for 02 nights stay.
Relaxing at hotel.
Afternoon visit Sarnath: where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma and also where the original
Sangha was formed. Consequently, it is one of the 4 main Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Overnight
stay at hotel in Varanasi. Evening attend the prayer ceremony at the Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Varanasi, also commonly known as Banaras and Kashi is a city situated on the banks of the River
Ganges in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, regarded as holy by Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains. It is one
of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and probably the oldest of India.

Day : 4 Varanasi
Early morning enjoy the boat ride on river Ganges. Back to hotel for breakfast and tour of Ancient city,
visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ratneshwar Mahadev Mandir (Leaning temple of Varanasi), Assi ghat,
Manikarnika ghat, Bharat Mata Mandir, Banaras Hindu University and Bharat Kala Bhavan Museum. Rest
of the day free for on own and overnight at hotel.

Day : 5 Varanasi – Bodhgaya drive (250 Km)
After breakfast drive to Biodhgaya. On arrival check into hotel for 02 nights stay. Bodhgaya - most sacred
place for Buddhists as it has a Peepul tree under which Gautama the Buddha attained enlightenment
some 2500 years back. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 6 Bodhgaya
Breakfast at hotel and sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya visiting Mahabodhi Temple - depicting the various
phases of Buddha's journey towards enlightenment, showing different aspects of his life, Bodhgaya
Archaeological Museum - houses a small collection of Buddhist sculpture from the 1st century B.C, to the
11th century A.D, Jagannath Temple close by has a four armed statue of Shiva in black stone. Overnight
stay at the hotel.

Day : 7 Bodhgaya - Nalanda - Rajgir - Patna (110 Km)
After breakfast drive to Patna. En-route visit Gridhakuta Hill and Bimbisara Jail in Rajgir. Proceed to
Nalnada (14 kms from Rajgir) which was one of the oldest Universities of the world and International
Centre for Buddhist studies. On arrival transfer to hotel for 01 night stay. Afternoon city tour visiting Har
Mandir Sahib - also known as Patna Sahib consecrates the place where the 10th Guru of the Sikhs Guru
Gobind Singh was born in 1776, Golghar - is a large dome-like structure from where one can have a fine
view of the Ganga and the surroundings of the city and Patna Museum - has a rich collection of Mauryan
and Buddhist sculptures, terracotta and other interesting items of the items. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 8 Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar (230 Km)
Morning after breakfast drive to Kushinagar. En-route visit Vaishali. On arrival visit the Rambhar Stupa -
which marks Lord Buddha's cremation ground. Our second stop is Mahaparinirvana temple - which
houses the recumbent figure of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 9 Kushinagar - Lumbini – Shravasti drive
Early breakfast and drive to Lumbini (170 Km) - the birthplace of Buddha and is located just a few
kilometres inside Nepal. Sightseeing tour of Lumbini and later drive to Shravasti (225 Km). On arrival
transfer to hotel and overnight stay.

Day : 10 Shravasti - Sahet & Mahet – Gonda and overnight train at 2220 hrs to Delhi
Breakfast at hotel and later visit to Sahet & Mahet -15 kms from Balrampur and the capital of the ancient
Kingdom of Kosala. Sravasti has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetvana
Vihar and has the famous Anand Bodhi tree, age-old stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples.
Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here. Overnight at hotel in Shravasti.

Day : 11 Shravasti – Lucknow drive (155 Km) & Flight to Delhi – Onward Journey
After breakfast drive to Lucknow airport for flight to Delhi and further flight back to home.
